Feminist Futures, 2023
I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago's Gender & Women’s Studies program in 2010, so I was honored to have been asked to create this digital illustration to incorporate into their department's 50th anniversary celebration. The artwork was screenprinted onto tote bags (thanks to Hoofprint Chicago!) and distributed at their event at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum on March 9, 2023.
Bodily autonomy, care, and the gifts of intergenerational knowledge are all within reach if we keep fighting, keep organizing, and commit to the reality that trans people, disabled people, and sex workers, to name a few, are all part of our fight for gender justice and feminist futures. We leave no one behind.
